Roles

Two begin, one no greater than the other

Life begins, and one man is called a brother

No longer like kin, the other joins a fraternity

Enforcing the ladder of social hierarchy

In passing through life, eye contact is made

The brother’s heartbeat races and he runs away

The protector of all people has one thing to ensure

To make this running man’s life end in torture

This gangster of justice claims he fears for his life

When he has the gun and claims the other has a knife

The brother is in fear as well

Frightened at the uselessness of his surrender

The officer releases his shell

By the end, the man’s spinal column severed

Two begin, one no greater than the other

Life begins, and one man is called a brother
