Resilient Shine and Luster

To feel you were meant to be more,

It is a feeling I know well

And with grief, my heart does swell

No hubris, to that which may quell

There will come a day, soon

Where I may roar,

But not as a beast,

Born of the dawn, I am

An entanglement of hues

Soft and bold; Tender and fierce

A story to be told, one not to be lost

Vessel though I am, embossed with cost

A vessel laden with lofty love

But to heal, remember, leave room,

Not for pride, where stray faiths preside

Rather, for self-love, please abide

Not vanity, not narcissism

Soft and bold; Tender and fierce

Confidence, nothing an arrow could pierce

Me
