Remember

Location

A couple dozen faces,

A couple hundred tears.

A couple thousand fleeting moments,

That we all held so dear.

It’s hard to think,

your time has gone,

and the world still spins around.

It’s hard to see the memories carved,

into a slab of stone…

But look up, we can see you in the sky!

Your warmth, your strength,

Your love, your fears,

Your spirit never dies.

Just promise me, while you’re in heaven,

You take careful heed,

Of the spirits now who feel your absence,

And bless them in their need.

Now take this simple song we sing,

And let it all reign true,

Your legacy in life lives on,

And we send our love to you.

We promise that we’ll be okay,

We’re sorry that you’re gone.

But through the shock and shattered tears,

We know that you’ll live on.

We just look up!! We will see you in the sky!

Your Warmth, your strength,

Your love, your fears,

Your spirit never dies.

Just send a little breeze our way,

And let it fill our hearts,

We know that if we feel your need,

We needn’t be alarmed,

We just look up and we will see you in the sky!

Your Warmth Your strength,

your love, your fears,

your spirit never dies.

We just look up.
