Queen of Heaven
Mother, queen, ancient one. She who gave birth to the son. Draped with the sky and a crown of stars upon your head. Your love and light chase away pain and dread. You lay beside me on my bed. You watch me sleep as I dream of every word you have said. O great mother, forgotten of the triune God, your wisdom is vast. How could you live such an outcast? I fear that your love will not last. I fear that you will abandon me as everyone else before has done to me. But you gently grab my chin and lift up my head, and open my eyes so I can see. So that I can see your love and beauty. Your love and beauty more vast than a crystal sea. Oh my lady, how is it that you love a sinner, so broken, like me?
