Plymouth

Plymouth

Stars shine down

Over the twilight;

The mountains of old

Silent in stillness.

Waters and cliff face

Blend down into one

As ancient rock

And ancient sea

Face the rising sun.

Beams glance high

Over the stillness;

The many seas old

Laughing and Endless

Cliff face and waters

Blend up into one

As ancient mist

And ancient sands

Face their fate to come.

Ships run fast

Over the water;

The men of lands old

And women and daughters

Waters and cliff face

Become a new hope

As ancient rock

And Ancient sea

And weary men

Climb up the soaring slope.
