Pleasure Seeker
Its been 5 months since I walked out that door.
Sobbing my eyes out and screaming on the floor.
Wishing you’d come back and un-break my fragile heart.
You said you loved me and I believed you from the start.
All the memories and the flash backs come.
Like a rushing wind, a tidal wave, and then some.
I see your smiling face and your happy, hazel eyes.
Who ever thought that those images would mean my demise?
I can still see us laying in your warm, cozy bed.
On a cold Sunday morning, your sheets and blankets red.
You would kiss me good morning and good night
Now I’m alone, with these emotions to fight.
You would stroke my cheek and hold me when I was sick
But now all I can see is how you acted like a dick.
You stopped calling. You stopped caring.
You stopped falling. You started glaring.
As hate grew stronger, love grew weaker.
All you became to me was a pleasure seeker.
