Phones Everwhere

Phones everywhere

Babies, kids, teens, adults, elderly

Everywhere I look there's a phone

Students, teachers, drivers, policemen, firemen

School, funerals, weddings, births, accidents, parties, fights

In faces and hands

People using them 24/7

Phones are useful, but dangerous

They are addictive

They draw you in with promises of ease

With their endless games

With their bright colors that draw you in

Like a moth to a flame

They have become our new toys

They have become our life

Some seem to have their phones fused to their hands

Impossible to put down

Impossible to let go

Phones being pried from the hands of the dead

Phones causing accidents

Phones causing stupidity

Phones everywhere
