Perseverance and Doubt Dancing Tango

Who wins you might ask?

Well of course, it's up to you.

Wether you keep the mask

Or be true to you

Life is a game

No one wants to play

And the only two things that can be quite left

Are perseverence and doubt

They like to dance tango

All around my brain

They like to keep me steady

Or make me wince in pain

Sometimes they can mix

Sometimes the tears are brought about by hardness

And when the tears are doubtful they bring about the sadness

But in the end they balance each other not cancel one another

Self respect is brought about by pain

Just like experience is brought about by mistakes

The doubt will always prick you

But the perseverance will always stick with you

It's the character that you gain

It's the respect for others and yourself that you earn

You look at life different

But you always have to suffer first.

Perseverance and Doubt

They like to dance tango

They like to play games

But in the end it is they

That make my day...
