Paul
Guarded by scales
Veiled by tales
before, now, and then
In the lion’s sanctuary
the beast’s damning den
Within the blinding light
Scales become a binding night
Before and now
For the reapers deciding field
Into the eternal deciding plow
But with interruption
To the outside and within
Now and then
Those ghostly veils descend
And thus the sinner rises again
Ushered now into hope
Guarded by light to eternally cope
Before, now, and then
See the remnants of the descending pen
that deems the soul filled with righteousness, free from sin
