Out The Window, Carried On Clouds

Sun, 04/20/2014 - 17:19 -- EAnders

Out the window, carried on clouds

On a day so listless I can't hear a sound

Silence so loud no thoughts are clear

As the words melt away with the acid of fear

Doubt tomorrow, over-think today

Worried that I can't find a word to say

When paper houses come crashing down

Neat the weight of apathy we both share now

Out the window, carried on clouds

Stare until I'm off the ground

Dreams curl through my skies of gray

Like beams of light of another day

No one's alone in this window pane

Emotions flooding in like waves

Trapped by silence, doubt and fear

Stay strong, one day they'll disappear
