Our Withering Minds

March 9, 2017:


We're continuing on this journey of self discovery and fullfilment

We know we're lost, we know we'll probably never truly find ourselves

We spent our teenage years trying to escape our depression

And god knows we did everything we could

We sat in our rooms writing stupid poems about happiness and joy

Whenever all we really wanted to do was stick that razor in our wrists and watch the sadness drain through our freshly opened veins

But we didn't do that, we never could bring ourselves to

We've realized that being lost isn't all that bad, we've found something to do with all of this excess time

In all, I hope we're found, I hope we get our release from this box of horror we currently reside in
