Our Watchful Moon
She is in the dying flowers and the burning trees
She is in the children who cry and plead
The animals who hunt and bleed
Earth in every form
Artemis, Diana
The powerful goddess of all things in the natural world
A warrior among the cowardly
We must protect the ones who protect us
Deers and does of the forest
Children who are ripped from their families
We must honor the moon by protecting our earth
Spinning our fate, she must live on
