No Prince Thank You!

I woke and fell in your arms

Has your lips touched mine

Never knowing much more

Trying to keep us from falling apart

Never realizing without me you'd just be a lonely prince

Without his charming darling

So I finally casted my sails and casted away all fairytales

Finally realizing they where all dreams

And I'm not a scared scarecrow anymore

I finally found a good pair of shoes that fit

And I've stopped falling for beasts and cleaning up your messes

Learning I don't need a man or seven

So I'll flip the script

And build myself up from nothing

Just to see where the tide may take me

And my arrow lands

Learning you don't always need a prince to be happy ever after.
