A New World

Location

The first crack of the ice.

The light sound of the birds flying back home.

The snow melting, showing the bare ground.

Children rushing parents out of the house to the park.

They don’t mind, they secretly want out.

The re-birth of the world. Beautiful. Calm. Welcoming.

New beginnings. A new start.

Your mistakes are in the past are just as the old snow.

It will all come again, just as summer follows spring. Fall will come. And winter is required.

For without the rain, the flowers could never grow.
