Necessary Selfish Ramblings

Please do not use my good looks

As an excuse for your blatant impertinence

Of course I look “pretty damn fine”

But I did not get dressed with you in mind

Your threatening footsteps,

Lingering eyes,

And oh so “flattering” caress

Was not what I intended when I put on this dress

I know I’m a

Dime,

Honey,

Perfect ten,

But I don’t need to hear it from masses of men

It’s been a long day, I’m walking home, dude,

The last thing I want is for you to be lewd

I know I am flawless perfection

But that doesn’t mean I need your attention

My perfection is mine.

So I’m sorry you lazy catcalling trolls,

But I won’t stop for you now,

Not when my life is on such a roll.
