I am a beloved daughter of God

A light in this world of darkness that surrounds me

A friend to those around me

I am a girl with the deserve to impact the world around me

I want to proclaim the Almighty's word to empower the world that surrounds me

But when curtains of fear enclose my souls

 I refuse to show that I am a follower of Christ for fear of persuction that this world may throw my way

I am now learning how to reveal that curtain of myself

And to remove the mask that covers the true identity of my soul 

That shows that I am a children of Christ

With a purpose to proclaim, his word tonight.
