My entire life I’ve known what I wanted to be

A future in medicine fills my heart with glee

Years of hard work is how I become

A brilliant doctor with a healthy income

Hard classes and tests will stand in my way

But from my dream I will not sway

I will fight through the sleepless nights

In hopes that my hard work will pay off right

I know I can do it as long as I have by my side

My friends and family so filled with pride

One day I will be curing diseases and saving lives

As long as my dreams continue to strive
