My Dearest Grandson...

10/6/16

 My Dearest Grandson,

I know that writing letters may be relics of the past,

and sending emails online are more convenient and fast,

but I couldn't help but write one since I have your new address,

my hands still work, and I believe that you deserve nothing less.

So things have been fine and dandy since I left the family farm,

12 rooms, 2 bathrooms and one kitchen, all snuggly, old, and warm.

Yes it's sad to see her go, but I'm in God's surrounding care,

and this retirement home is the perfect place to set up my secret lair!

Remember when I made you that armor out of cardboard?

And told you it would aid you to become a true Sith Lord?

Those certainly were the times, I miss them now and then.

I promise to talk to you grandson, as often as I can.

Lovingly,

Grandpa.

My Dearest Grandson,

I don't know if you got my letter, or if it found your home,

But I've been worried about you and what's happened in your home.

I'm sure it must've been chaotic, and probably insane,

But I have a ray of sunshine to glaze into your windowpane.

I'm going to ask you something that does not often come my way,

What do you want the most when you wake up on Christmas Day?

I'll get you anything you want, and everything you need.

After your unfortunate occurance and that sinful deed.

I love you so much my grandson, and I hope you do feel better.

Until next time, when I discover your next replying letter.

Patiently,

Grandpa

My Dearest Grandson,

Are you ok? Is something wrong? I didn't get your letter.

I hope things are ok back at home, I hope that you feel better.

You must be terribly busy, with all of those things to do,

But I was hoping to figure out what exactly to get you.

I got you some things in advance just in case you don't have time,

They're in the mail, and I can promise that they are both sublime.

I hope you recieve this letter, and the presents attached inside.

I want you to know I love you more than you could ever abide.

.Hopefully,

Grandpa

My Dearest Grandson,

My handwriting is shaky, I deeply apologize

I 've lost control of my cursive style. Gone is that disguise.

I'm sorry to learn that you were not satisfied

with the pocket bible and sketchbook included inside.

I miss you,

Grandpa

Sorry For Your Loss,

We regret to inform you that at 12 pm yesterday,

We found your grandfather laying down beginning to decay.

His death was caused by age and fatigue, but gripped inside his hand,

was a pen upon some loose leaf paper with ink that had gone bland.

We've attached the remnant of the letter to this document.

And hopefully you can find yourself some pity and lament.

Regretfully,

Paul

My Dearest Grandson,

I wish I could see you before God takes me up and away

So I can walk up and tell you that...
