Senior year’s starting now

And I’ve got lots of stuff to do

Reading, writing, staring, dreaming

And tons of homework, too

 

Working on music sounds pretty good

Lucky for me, my major’s cool

Need some ideas for a thesis

But so far, I haven’t a clue       

 

I’ll take some breaks occasionally;

It’s hard to work all the time

I’ll sip some pumpkin fraps or tea

While working on my rhymes

 

Though college can be really hard

And feel just way too long

The end’s in sight, I’ll finish soon

Until then, keep going strong

 

Music as my inspiration

Keeps me grounded and sane

Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation,

In This Moment and Delain

 

This is what I’m working towards,

What I want my life to be

Writing, singing, music, MUSIC!

Makes it all worth it to me
