Mother

To the mother who spends 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 60 minutes a hour..loving me . This poem is for you. From the first time you held me in your arms.Naturally given the ability to love me unconditionally, that no one you would let, do me harm. Mom who sacrificed time, money, and patience, for any occasion, asking for nothing in return , you deserve, celebration. But not just for this one day in a year, not for one hour of this day, but you should be praised every moment of every day, for keeping me safe. For picking me up when i fall, answering when i fall, loving me through it all. To the mother who awoke in the middle of the night when she heard me cry. To the mother who gave me values to live by. To the mother that i take for granted, granted that she has demanded nothing but my love and obedience. I say, thank you.For being my own personal superhero.Your power being to transform into the form of anything we needed. You became my teacher when I needed to be taught, a lesson. My counselor when i needed guidence. My driver, even when i drove, you crazy. You sometimes had to be the M-O-M that was my ATM and though you gave me money i still tend to forget how much your worth. You are my gardener, i am your seed, giving me the nutrients i need. To become all that I can be . To grow faithfully.I Thank God above us, for providing such a wonderful mother, for in all the world there is none other. So to the mother who spends 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 60 minutes a hour...loving me....Thank you You are awesome!.
