Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?
With all these noises and TV lies,
I fail to see with worldly eyes.
Is it the woman, that really beautiful model,
Who is so unhealthy she is forced to hobble?
The same woman who, unlike the others,
Does not care for the lives that she mothers?
Of all these famous one must be,
The fairest we will ever see.
Could it be the man who sings in that one band,
The one the police found drugs in his van?
The same man who preaches not to drink,
But then goes home and pukes in the sink?
Of all these famous one must be,
The fairest we will ever see.
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?
Why there must be some external trait,
That I can see and replicate.
Well my child, thou hath failed me,
I, the mirror, will preach to thee.
The fairest is the one that has never asked,
The one that has never in his glory basked.
He has no desire to offend
He just wants to have a nice friend.
I present you an outward reflection,
One of which you have no moral connection.
You perceive what you can with worldly eyes,
While the fairest trait inwardly lies.
