Masked
Location
Mirror mirror on the wall
Do you see me thin and tall?
School is rough, the kids don't see
The person I'm truly destined to be
I try and smile or force a laugh
All behind a face that's masked
I'm petrified of what's become
Because I'm not so sure of what's to come
Returning home is hard for me
I remove the mask for myself to see
I'm not sure how I got this way
No one asked, no one can say
When I break back down
The mask returns
My feelings lost
My heart, it burns!
The fire roars, lounder and stronger
This mask, I can't wear for any longer.
