A Love I Once Honed

Location

A love I once honed

Is now a memory long forgotten;

With how quick I lost it,

Or even rid of it-

Was it lust instead?

Cradled in my plams

Had been a lingering hope

That the past would reverse

Into my future;

Wonderfully blissful my heart

Felt before I traveled the "greener grass"

To where I believed all to be

Brighter, stronger, riveting.
