The Lost Girl

Location

Where do we go when we are lost?

Where can we find ourselves and what’s the cost?

I’m searching of the girl I once was.

Looking and looking, where can she be?

I see a girl, is it me?

She turns around, her face is blurred.

She talks to me but it was unheard.

I walk closer to get a closer look.

I start to see a reflection.

The girl I once was is right there, I see the connection.

Turns out I was never lost, I was just exploring.

I forgot about life, it was too boring.

I open my eyes; it was all but a dream.

I replay the dream in my head almost every day.

To stay in this world wide awake.

This dream changed my life forever.

I won’t forget who I am, not now, not ever.

She is finally found.

I see a girl, is it me?

Yes it is, and she will never leave.
