long-distance

Wed, 10/01/2014 - 18:01 -- 15cfisk

I am more in love with you now than I've ever been

And all I have is a folder of pictures saved on my phone

And right now you are exactly 719.6 miles away from me

Yet every night I feel like you're next to me

Because I fell in love with you the moment I saw you

And it's been one year and 32 days since then

All I have are pictures

And yet these pixels are still enough to make me feel whole

I stare squinty-eyed in the dark at your face

At the goddamn sunshine that fills your eyes

And I am instantly comforted by just the mere thought of you

It's crazy how happy you make me

I never knew it was possible to love someone you've never met so much

People that say that long-distance relationships can't work out must not know true love

Because more often than not you are six timezones away from me

And I still find a way to love you with every fiber of my being.
