Learn to Try

We are not appraised by how we begin

Nor are we judged by our face or our skin

We learn to hide what we’re told to by others

Using our clothes and makeups as covers

You don’t have to hide who you are anymore

You don’t have to bleed til you fall to the floor

It's time to get up and learn how fly

Afterall, what is life if you don't learn to try?
