Just One Job...May Change My Life

I have dreams, A nd they all start with "me", The kind of dreams that are bright and colorful and bursting at the seams. I want to be a nurse, Helping people at their worst, It's what I know, What I'm best at, Care to challenge that? I want to heal wounds, Give the gift of health, Give back to something, Greater than myself. My people, my home, my family, my community, I want to help everyone in the world, Can you see? From muscle to bone, Artery to vein, Nerve to impulse, My dream is to become a nurse, My asperation is golden, not cursed, The human body is what I know, Anatomy can't throw me, Because I know what I know, And a dream is a dream, Never too big, Never out of reach.
