poetry?

The answer is hard
to put into words

even for someone as
"literally gifted"
as me.

My soul
finds a way
to speak
through poetry.

Not just through the words
but through the punctuation,
symbols,
symbolism,
spacing,
and paragraph formatting.

I can speak
the truth

The most secret truths
that my soul
has to tell

through my poems

through my poetry

through poetical writings and
endeavors.

I write
to express myself
to speak out
to tell the truth
to destroy the
SILENCE
that suppresses me
and just

BREAK OUT

to escape the disillusionment
or illusionment
of every day
life
and
be
free
with the truth
that is
inside
of me.
