Ink

I believe in the power of ink, The power it brings to create something greatI believe in the power of paperThe power to convey things that you can’t speakI believe in the power of midnight thoughtsWhen sleep doesn’t come easily I believe in the power of wordsThe power they bring and the things they makeTo the characters we wish we could be and the things we wish we could seeTo the plots we build and the plots we destroy To the crumbled ideas that only seem to annoyTo the journals we fill and the pencils we brake I believe in the power of inkThe power it brings and the things it destroysI believe in the power of paperThe power to crumble the world around youI believe in the power of midnight thoughtsWhen the tears flow easily I believe in the power of wordsThe destruction they bring and the pain they createTo the characters that are based on our own heartbreak To the ideas we rip to pieces because they ring too much truth To the pencils we throw and the journals we ignore It all seems to start with Ink
