The Individual

Who am I? Wish I had some sort of clue.

To free myself from this insanity

I’d have to close my eyes and try hard to

completely detach from reality.

To my demons, won’t you go away?

You cloud my judgement, I have you to blame.

Want to follow dreams, not orders, today.

Despite efforts, you refuse to be tamed.

But this quest is just a stupid, damn mess.

I was up so high, but then I just fell.

Don’t know. Just want to cry a little less.

Please, please, someone get me out of this hell.

Lonely as I sit here waiting to die

I continue to wonder... Who am I?
