If today were the last day to live,
would you call your enemies and forgive?
or would you go to the shelter to give?
something simple can express so much
our hands together is a simple touch
plenty of lives in so much poverty
we need to fix this and do it properly
this world needs change
but we make it seem like its far in range
a life saved
is a diamond found
nice and shiny all around
clean them up off the ground
take them back to the light
let them know they have survived.
