I wonder

Location

If we could ever say we are truly in love?
Because in a sense, couldn’t you just say you’re in love with whoever?
I mean I thought I was in love a couple of times, but now I can look back and say that I never loved them at all.
Maybe I felt something in my heart,
But it wasn’t true love.
Because according to past explanations and definitions and everything anyone has to say about true love and being in love,
You’ll always have that person in your heart.
But personally, and from what I’ve seen with others, you can easily replace a person with another.
You just have to find a good replacement as shallow as that seems.
I mean I don’t know, I know that love is powerful.
I can see people giving their all into each other and pouring their souls out.
That seems like love.
I don’t know, I don’t know what true love is.
But the theory of a soul mate, that single person being out there for you.
It strikes me, it confuses the what out of me.
