God, he’s not happy, he’s wearing a frown –

All those hurt feelings are weighing him down…

He’s been holding it inside far too long –

Oh dear God, please help him be strong…

 

God, there she sits with a tear in her eye –

It seems that this life is making her cry…

So I’m praying that You’d hold her still,

Speak to her gently and show her Your will…

 

Lord, I thank You for my best friend,

And for the smile that she always has to extend…

Please continue to fill her with laughter,

And help me to be loving and joyful like her…

 

Oh, Father God, I pray for my friends –

Please bless and protect them to the very end.

Fill them with peace that only You can give.

Guide them carefully and teach them to live
