It is hard to accept failure

a lack of success

omission of performance

a massive regress

feelings of depression

defeat

and detest.

It's hard to explain to others, 

you failied.

You try to to find the words to say

I messed up! I was stupid!

but 

they seem so far away, so you continue 

to feel stuck

to feel lost

completely marred.

As you were having your fun

enjoying your freedom

you neglected the fact that you

would have to look failure in the eye at the end,

that the smile on your face was merely

pretend

because deep down you failed to face the simple fact:

"I failed."

"I failed."

I failed.

and there's no changing that.
