I am... still learning

Loved too hard,

Rejected too fast.

Maybe that's why

I always held back.

Look in the mirror,

And hate what I see.

Now I understand why,

Everyone always leaves.

Thighs too wide,

Stretch marks too dark

Hide under baggy clothing

So no one can see

What little is left of me.

My confidence is small,

My body large.

Why can't I just be happy?

That's all that I want.

Too afraid to be myself

But why should I be someone else?

Look in the mirror,

And admire the flaws

There is no one like you

So please don't leave us all.

Love yourself and all you are

Because you are something

Worth it all.
