The Hurt

They say pain is temporary

Forgive me for thinking its scary

Maybe it's a fantasy, no fairy

I want comfort on the contrary.

Pain is a inhibitor,

because it inhibits us.

You could call it bondage,

because it prohibits trust.

It's a sea of tears

made by we who exhibit lust.

Pain is deeper than the ocean

The cause of chaos and commotion

Not only to skin, but emotion

An enemy only beat by devotion.

It lives with our fears

So, it does not exist

If it were a dream,

I would have to resist.

"The Hurt" is an option,

not on my waiting list.
