Homesick

She's got a nasty little secret
Hidden under her sleeves
She's remaining stationary
As she watches her friends leave
Countless nights under moonlight skies
She's unable to sleep
Her mind is shrouded and clouded and now
She's struggling to breathe
She's leaving reality so she doesn't face the brutality
But her escape is far from harmless, going to end in fatality
Etching insults deeper in her skin and deeper in her soul
She must be dizzy watching her life spinning out of control
And wouldn't you know, daddy's little angel wishes for death
And she screams for her mommy in her very last breath
The crimson blood is pooling on the cold bathroom tiles
Never again does she has to bare those fake smiles
And she wasn't suicidal, never wanted all this
She was just another angel who had gotten homesick
