Growing Young
Location
I felt the frost on my tongue, because I was growing young and the sun didn't shine from the words I spoke. I kissed a flower as I smelled a delicate perfume and walked in a cold garden among a cold world. I smiled and said," pardon me I didn't mean to barge in but I’ll bargain with you a story to tell if he loves me or loves me not either way tell me the story until you drop and float away." I crushed the melting snow under my feet and sat by a frozen lake with the fear of falling at stake, because I saw solid land on the waters surface and wondered if it was worth it. I stared at the cracks on the frozen waters and saw the beauty in it's strength and weakness. Without the need to speak it I felt the soft touch of snow as it sprinkled jingles of joy and cheer to add comfort to the blowing air, which swayed without direction or affection. Survival of the fitness is key when danger larks and monsters feed, but I’d rather grow old fighting for equality then to grow young with action that demolish me.
