Growing Up

Sun, 04/28/2019 - 16:19 -- KDitz

Growing up seemed fun to me,

Until I no longer fit on dad's knee.

Counting how many years I had left of school,

Knowing it's my learning tool.

One day I no longer had,

All my friends, just my dad.

Growing up means people leave,

And you start to learn to greive .

Growing up is a lot of work,

And society is a real big jerk.

But growing up is fun sometimes,

You become old and wise.

Learning from a mistake,

Makes you special and opaque.

People see you and your voice,

Learning is an amazing choice.

Growing up helped me learn,

That even though some words burn.

They help you grow and become a new,

The best of the best, the only you.
