Good Night Wishes 1

Tonight may you look upon a winter's scene

Snow upon the spruce's green

Crystals falling everywhere

Dancing through the evening air

Oil lamps line the streets

A warm orange glow in the chilly breeze

A thick wool blanket covers our lap

As the horse's hooves begin to clap

They steadily trot through the town

Not on one face can be seen a frown

The smell of fresh pie fills the air

As the children play nearly everywhere

As we slide out of town on our graceful sliegh

The children continue their endless cheerful play

Guided by lanterns into the night

We crest a snowy hill and look upon the village lights

The far off echo of laught can be heard from there

The endless snowflakes gather in your hair

I'ts time to return to the sleepy little town

To find the excitement has all died down

Folks have retreated into their cozy homes

The streets are nearly Silent, even the hooves at a whispered tone

With this scene I hope you feel at home

And never again will you ever feel alone

Now cozy in bed until morning's light

I hope you wake in a satisfied delight

Sweet dreams beautiful, only the best will do

And may, if you wish, they always come true

Goodnight
