I couldn’t use a glass pen
For it would break
From the pressure I place
All the words and mistakes
It would break
The fractures that I am
There’s not enough hot sand
To put me back together again
I would break
And that glass pen would take my place
Holding my stories with it’s clearity
I could not fake
That glass pen
Fragile to the touch
Yet precise enough to kill you
But through the inked in words
It will heal you.
I could not use a glass pen
For I don’t know where it begins
And my blacking thoughts end
And for it is I and I am it
Glass pen
