the girl you found

Have you seen the girl that shines?
The one that thought she could only shimmer.
She holds her head up to the sky.
And her eyes; you can see them glimmer.

She holds her hands at her side.
She can’t save lives with them behind.
Her strides are bigger.
Now that she knows.

She’s taller than she thought.
She’s smarter than she thought.
She’s braver than she knew.

Her paths are more.
But she isn't lost.
She knows where to go.
Have you seen the new you?
