Future is Now

Wed, 10/12/2016 - 21:46 -- lunaper

I always looked to the future sadly

Quickly two years seemed to pass me

I survived, here I am, I am happy.

I talk more now, to them, my dear friends

Who had before been left behind

By my blinding depressed isolation

But now I’m free and here they are

We laugh and I enjoy their company

I speak, here I am, I am happy

I am comfortable with myself

I can say now I’m pansexual,

Gender-fluid and now myself.

I pushed away the people who poison me

And have administered the antidote

I am healing, I am here, I am happy,

Finally.
