The fury of the Time Lord

The Doctor runs through time and space
Sometimes alone, sometimes with a friend
Now and then he gets a different face
And his companions always leave him in the end

He travels by TARDIS, his time machine
A Time Lord invention
By man it is not often seen
For it does not draw attention

His companions are the ones he holds dear
But he is left by all
That’s one thing that’s clear
And his solitude will lead to his downfall

Because even for someone who’s 900 years old
All you need to get through time and space, is a hand to hold
