To: Friends

To all my friends,

I am quite jealous.

To all my enemies,

I am quite jealous.

For you, in contrast of me,

have a "best" friend you see,

who seems to make you quite zealous.

Whatever you do,

don't lose them.

However you do,

don't lose them.

For I still have to go through trial and error,

facing this never-ending terror,

to find that one truly loyal gem.

Now don't get me wrong,

I do have friends.

There's nothing really wrong,

I do have friends.

It's just that I long for a deeper bond,

someone to swim within this huge pond,

that eventually turns into a river, with its curves and bends.

And remember now,

these people have stuck with you somehow.

Which makes me ask how?

and makes me exclaim "Wow!"
