That Four Letter Word

Quick and unforeseen,

It bites, and wraps you within it's spell,

It conquers you, inhibits you,

Day after day your mind and heart are goverened by this one emotion,

And you slip deeper, blinded by it's charm,

Love is a bitch...,

Controlling, Manipulating, Demanding,

Losing your sense of self,

While tending to it's every need,

Something so remarkable,

Can be devastating.
