To live forever is a hopeless dream,

Humans are meant to come and go from here,

Life is not something that you can redeem,

Leaving this world should not hold any fear.

Because there are many ways to live on,

Pictures and love can live on forever,

But words are remembered when you are gone,

To use them though, you must be very clever.

Words are passed on through every generation,

They can make people laugh and make them cry,

Stories can tell them about your actions,

You won’t be forgotten as years go by.

While your words are read you can live through them.

And so forever can become your friend.
