five feet down.

dig. dig. dig down deep.

discover the melodies and allow them to seep

down your cracked skull and drip in to your ear

a tune, often vivid when coated in fear.

don’t make a sound, not even a peep.

even when you want to rip away their rights of being able to sleep.

just dig yourself down, down, down, to the fifth level tier,

until you break through new discoveries and claim to be a pioneer.

six feet down and they begin to weep.

so stay five feet down, ‘cause you’re dreamy when you’re a black sheep.

a siren in the night, so close, but never near.

your love for my self-reckoning has never been so clear.
