First Love
I loved him. I loved him more than I would ever love. Afterall, he had raised me. But once that golden liquid made its way into his brain, a numb merciless heart replaced the kind one I had grown fond of. A man I once knew fell deep into an abyss and before me now stood a stranger. A stranger who used words as knives to reopen my wounds. Words that crashed against an organ that had yet to be mended. See they say that a daughter's first love is her father, but they forget to mention that with every love story, a heartbreak is bound to follow.
