Abnormal, poor, weird words I hear daily
Growing up poor wasn’t a choice; wishing it was a choice
Each day I struggle looking over my should, hearing them laugh,
Avoiding the landlord, rents overdue.
Got parents who don’t deserve to be call that.
Can take care of themselves , wonder why they had 4 kids.
Washing dishes, throwing out trash, my way to make money.
Next morning my father stole my cash.
Working sunrise to sunset, have it all taken away by my parents.

this is what i live each day hopfully i can turn something negative to something positive.I hope this poem could win me a scholarship.
